Wet Cleaning: The Non Toxic Green Alternative

Wet cleaning represents a 100%, non-toxic alternative cleaning service to regular laundry and dry cleaning. It is the most eco-friendly method of cleaning, relying entirely on the cleaning power of water, mild surfactants, and protective substances.

Dhobees uses Kreussler’s X-Press LANADOL products to wash its garments. These products are of the highest environmental standard, registered as ‘blue angel’: an internationally recognised environmental label for low-burden, high quality cleaning products.

Chemicals applied to garments through wet cleaning are 100% neutral and solvent free, meaning lower usage of water, energy, and detergents. With higher efficiency, this allows for shorter batch times, lower costs, and economical care for sensitive textiles.

These chemicals contain no phosphates, optical brighteners, EDTA, and musk fragrances. This means that grease, oil, pigment, protein, and starch spots are washed from garments in temperatures from cold to 40°C. Garment colours are therefore preserved and protected with zero colour transfer.
